PSN Store Update Jul/02/2009 – The No Mercy Edition

This week’s update sees new episodes of the PSN’s two video magazines in episode 14 of Qore and a new edition of Pulse.  For those who subscribed to Qore when it initially released, your annual subscription has already expired with episode 13; but be sure to check your email or the media section at the PSN store for a special subscription renewal offer.  Playable content for the PS3 comes in the form of the full release of the unreal engine powered Punisher: No Mercy based on the Marvel comic.  DLC also come your way with a free Statue of Liberty costume for Little Big Planet and paid expansions for Quantum of Solace, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, and Tiger Woods 10.  For the PSP, 3 UMD legacy titles become new members of the  PSN library with Mind Quiz, Splinter Cell: Essentials and more importantly Capcom Classics Collection Remixed (be sure to check the listing of all the classics included in this one).

As for PS Home, an inFamous space is finally dropped with the Abandoned Docks of Empire City.  The space includes a graffiti mini game that allows you to show of your own graffiti art (created by the space tools) to your friends and allow other Home users to vote on.  In addition, one of the very first Home spaces gets patched when the Far Cry 2 space will now allow for game launching for the corresponding game.
