Whatcha Playin’ (Sep/19/2009)

DSC00430Itook last weekend off from video games for the Toronto International Film Festival, but this weekend I was revved up for a Sony weekend with dl codes for the MAG private beta, the new Uncharted 2 multiplayer demo, and a play through of all the new 18 user created levels hand picked for the GOTY edition of Little Big Planet.  Unfortunately the one I was most excited about, the Uncharted 2 multiplayer demo, was unable to be downloaded due to an “invalid code” message.  I still get to go through the other PS3 exclusives so it’s not a total loss.  Other than that, my PC will be getting some play with Wolfenstein, Mini Ninjas and the recently released Resident Evil 5.  I picked up Disgaea 2 for the PSP and Muramasa: The Demon Blade for the Wii, but that might have to stay in the packaging until I go through my beloved Sony games.  Sean C.

photo2It’s a busy stretch for me ( when isnt it?) with all the events that are popping up. Hope you enjoyed the NHL 10 launch & exclusive Halo 3: ODST vids! I’m currently putting together our ODST interview with Xbox Canada’s Jeff Rivait. Speaking of which, our ODST copies (as well as Marvel: UA 2) were delayed till Monday,so it’s back to NHL 10 and Van Halen offer-less Guitar Hero 5.  James S.

photoThis weekend I’m finally gonna try out Little Big Plane: Game of the Year Edition! (PS3) I’ve wanted to play the original for so long but somehow this game slipped through the cracks! Although I have a feeling that this game may become addictive! Game Girl Tess
